SYSTEM SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS

This position requires 30% travel to various courts (all levels), police agencies and legislative bodies and a valid passport is required. In addition, successful candidates must be able to pass intensive background checks through the FBI, GSA, Interpol and other agencies as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Configuring servers and workstations to operate our digital recording (audio/video) systems including network and database components.
  • Complete Quality Assurance checks for CourtSmart system installations.
  • Installation of CourtSmart’s hardware and software at customer location.
  • Documenting site and support issues.
  • Training technical and non-technical end-users in the operation of CourtSmart.
  • Provide high level technical support to customers both in house and on site via phone and remote connections.
  • Troubleshoot customers’ technical issues and escalating them to Application Development as needed.
  • Testing new software releases including beta and service packs.
  • Researching technologies and products that benefit CourtSmart and support our business strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, & SMTP; Cisco routers a plus.
  • Technically proficient Windows 2003, 2008 Server, SQL and troubleshooting thereof.
  • Professionalism: Attention to detail, follow-up, and using good judgment is paramount.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Some knowledge of audio/video signal flow a plus.

This strong variety of duties from travel (30%) to remote support (30%) to special projects/server projects (30%) and some training (10%) will always keep you busy and challenged.
