This position requires traveling (up to 30%) throughout the United States, Canada, Bermuda and Europe working with various courts (all levels), police agencies and legislative bodies. This position requires the ability to pass intensive background checks through the FBI, GSA, Interpol and other agencies as needed. Possession of a valid passport is required.



Job Duties:
  • Configuring Dell and HP servers and workstations to operate our digital recording (audio/video) systems including network and database components.
  • Complete Quality Assurance checks for CourtSmart system installations
  • Installation of CourtSmart’s hardware and software at customer locations.
  • Documenting site and support issues
  • Training technical and non-technical end-users in the operation of CourtSmart.
  • Provide high-level support to customers both in-house and onsite via phone and remote connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot customers’ technical issues/escalate to Application Development as needed.
  • Testing new software releases including beta and service packs.
  • Researching technologies and products that benefit CourtSmart and support our business strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, & SMTP; Cisco routers a plus.
  • Technically proficient Windows 2008/2003 Server, MS SQL 2005/2008 and troubleshooting thereof
  • Professionalism: Attention to detail, follow-up, and using good judgment is paramount
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Some knowledge of audio/video signal flow a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects start to finish for installations you are assigned.
