Legislature Solution
CourtSmart technology is being employed worldwide to fill the needs of government meetings that require the capture of a verbatim record. CourtSmart's fault tolerant recording systems provide redundancy and there is no single point of failure. This assures that an accurate, verbatim record of sessions and meetings will always be made. As part of the CourtSmart Legislature System a fully integrated transcription application is included. Proceedings can be automatically cut into segments and sent to a transcription pool where transcribers can word-process the audio portions of proceedings. These segments are then realigned in time sequence by the CourtSmart software. CourtSmart can track multiple versions of the same proceedings concurrently for editing and translation purposes. All cut or marked segments are tracked and can be monitored by a supervisor as to the progress being made. The supervisor can control and reassign any portion or portions of multiple proceedings as required.
The audio and video can be securely streamed to an Internet site for public or controlled access and all previously recorded and current proceedings can be accessed over a LAN or WAN. User security is provided through the database management system and an authorized user can quickly search and find any proceeding for review. CourtSmart's server based WEB client provides a multi-lingual interface in several languages.
