CourtSmart System Administration Software
The Administration function of the user interface controls the user profiles or user security within the application. Whomever is designated as the CourtSmart Administrator uses this function to add or delete users, change a user profile such as what functions an individual may perform, or change where a person is allowed to perform their assigned functions. For example, a user may be limited to playback and searching only within certain courtrooms or divisions. These profiles can be changed by the system administrator only.
Another key benefit of the Administrative function is the ability to generate statistical reports and graphs from the data captured and stored in the fully ODBC compliant database management system. With a few simple selections and date parameters the CourtSmart system can produce reports on such functions as the number of hours a courtroom was in session for any given period from a day to a year, the number of cases and annotations an operator did in a given period. How much storage was utilized by each server over a period of time, and numerous other information to better manage the utilization of staff and courtrooms as well as reducing the amount of time required to generate operating reports, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
