The LAPD selected CourtSmart to replace its antiquated collection of cassette recorders and VHS video recorders over 4 years ago. Thousands of recordings are made every year from interview rooms, interrogations, and polygraph rooms. Detectives can have access to these recordings should they choose to over the LAN or WAN and thus the workflow has been greatly simplified. Control of the recordings is from a central room where a single operator can monitor and control all proceedings.
